By insane I asume you mean really fast and brutal but also technical, so I won't recommend Sceptic's first two albums and Death's last album because they're just really technical and tasteful, not so much insane. For insane, you want:

and just about any brutal death metal band. You can say what you want about brutal death, but there is tons of crazy drumming and great drummers in that genre.

God I love that drummer.

Corn is great, but the drum sound is appalling. It really ruins it for me. Seriously, what is he playing with? Cardboard boxes and coffe mugs? Buy a fucking drum kit!

I actually really like it. The snare is unbelievable and the bass is more or less normal. I can see why people dislike it though.

Magus-Ruminations of Debauchery has some great fast drumming in a couple of songs. Courtesy of Absu's Proscriptor again. Too bad it's the only good thing about the album(well,that and the first song).
