Hi

I think its about time I actually asked for some advice on my own mixes.

I'm struggling to make this mix seem a bit wider, it also seemed to have an overall dullness which I tried to fix with Ozone but it still dosent feel right. Basically just have more life to it.

The guitar tracks were recorded with an Ibanez GIO so I don't actually know how much I can get out with the tone, I presume my mixing skills are making my tone bad but I just thought in this case the guitar would factor in.

For me it feels like the guitars are stuck under the mix and are very muddy, I can't seem to EQ anything right.

And apologies for a boring/bad song composition

I have panned two takes that are panned hard left and right, I then doubled those takes and left them the way they were so its two sets on top of each other ( all tracks are different recab impulses though).

there is also a third take which is doubled and panned hard left and right, this third take is meant to just be for more of a high end guitar sound.

Initially my third guitar take was centered but I though it sounded a bit better when doubled and panned .
