NEED MORE INPUTS HELP!

Hey guys i currently own a m-audio 18/14. 8 in 4 out with PT mpowered with a berhinger eurodesk mx9000 i need more inputs how can i do this if i still want to stick to running protools would i need adat preamps? and link it to my 18/14 to get anotehr 8 inputs .. plz help thanx alot ..

You can buy a pre-amp with spdif out like this one and have 2 more inputs.

But how about if i want mor ethen 10 inputs i cant use an m-audio octane plz explain how to do this kind of confusing me ?

You're using 8 inputs, right? You can only have 10 more with that M-audio.
An M-Audio Octane will give you 8 more inputs trough the ADAT in.
Then you'll have 2 more inputs left, the Spdif ones.
