start with lowering the trheshold and increase the releasetime... maybe iit would be easier to help you ff you posted a pic of you plugin?

Mendel, just seen the bbe on your master bus, do you use that on the guitars as well? and what settings do you use, because that may be sucking some of the mids out of the tone.
no, i did not use them in the guitar. i got the first button around 8 - 9 o clock. and the 2nd button around 9 - 10 o clock.

yeah that shouldn't be too bad then, i normally have them set to about that as well, i just like guitars with a lot of mid crunch lol, and i just think the drums could have a bit more balls in there, but thats just me

Holy crap! Your ratio is set to 17.9 : 1 !!!! You should seriously lower it to no more than 6 : 1 at the most on your master bus.

MGB sounds a lot better but you're still crushing the life out of it with whatever final compressor you are using.
