Need some goooood piano samples for a band im recording...

Hey dudes,

I'm recording a bands album at the moment (while trying to do my own at the same time!) anyway its nearing completion except they have one song which is quite different from the rest. Ambient, low kind of song with a piano in it. They piano they've exported and given me is ok but has the typical midi sound to it. I was wondering if anyone has any good samples of a grand piano perhaps? A good sounding one as ive tried some and deleted them straight away.

Or even better if i could provide a midi file and someone just quickly run it through a VSTi or something if they have a good one?

Any thoughts?

Pianoteq is great. I have it too, and as a keyboard player I love it. Not a sampler, but a synth and that's the best part. Very flexible, so The-Zeronaut (or me - I'd do that if needed) can easily achieve the sound you are looking for, whether you need an acoustc grand or a honky tonk.

lol, never even heard of it.. me and Kev are in search of a GREAT piano for years now, i find most very dull and boring sounding, even the very expensive ones.. i'll give this a listen, hopefully try the demo, if there is one.
