I'm writing a mini dissertation on how impulse responses and analog emulations compare to the real versions and how engineers can utilize them to get a more professional sounding end product and would love some of your opinions, its just a quick questionnaire:

It will really help me with my coursework I will be eternally grateful! :worship:

Thought I'd change the format slightly, stops you guys having to click through sites

1. How old are you?

2. What type of studio do you use as your main mixing location? (home studio, professional studio or other)

3. What is you opinion on the analog vs digital debate?

4. Do you currently use any analog emulation plugins or software?

5.Do you use impulse's of outboard or analog equipment? (If yes how do you load them into your DAW? (space designer, 3rd party IR loader)

6. If you answered yes to the previous question, how do you utilise impulses in your mixing process?

7. Do you use impulses of reverbs? For instance those captured from a real space or an outboard delay unit

8. If you answered yes to the last question how realistic do you think they are?

9. How confident are you to create your own replications of outboard equipment?

10. Do you feel analog Plug-ins and impulses get you a more professional sounding end product?
