Hey guys, what up? first post round here..

I'm in the middle of a dilemma right now, I have an Ibanez S540, and It's a great axe, but the bridge Dimarzio pickup doesn't seem to be tighter/brighter enough for metal speedy riffs. Well, actually there are no Dimarzio that seems to be tight enough..

So what passive pickups can you recommend me?

Thanks!!! I will keep posting round here!

Hey, I've got a passive Dimarzio D Activator in the bridge of my Ibanez S and its very tight. It took me a while to get used to it after switching from a Duncan Distortion, but I really like it a lot now. I'm in drop C with 11-54 for what its worth.

Dimarzios and Duncans both rule... I have a Super Distortion in my Les Paul. Sounds super tight even when I'm tuned to G :)

A Bareknuckle Painkiller or Miracle Man may suit your needs. It's a bit pricey, but they're amazing sounding pickups, and quite quiet too for passives.
