I think what I was pointing out was that your apparent hero spoke German, not English. If there was any redundancy it was in mentioning his national identity, which I did to avoid any abiguity about where he was from had I said "Hitler was German".My Man Mahmoud said:It's self-evident, why even mention it? It's like saying "English-speaking Scotsman," the former is implicitly a part of the latter.

Explain how calling me a faggot can be anything other than arbitrary. And yes given the number of times you and your interchangable counterparts resort to it as an insult, I think the assuption is pretty safe to make that you have some kind of obsession with homosexuality. I am pretty sure though, that there are some "faggots" out there that are easily your intellectual superior. While you are at it, it is an assumption that I was anything but aware of the fact that it was "tongue in cheek". In fact the intent was completely irrelevant to my response.illidurit said:assumption 1: the remark was arbitrary

You are missing the point entirely then. It was prempting any response that I could be discredited by thinking Hiter was of German origin rather than Austrian. It's completely beside the point and is only a minor part of what I addressed in that post anyway. My Man Mahmoud said:The point itself is so inane that I can't even conceive of a reason for bringing it up. It's like saying that I can't enjoy Homer because he wrote in Ionic Greek.
