Also I brought up the example of Khold, a Norwegian band commonly considered 'black metal' who sing exclusively in Bokmal. I don't assume to know what your opinion of them is but surely given that they are Norwegian they have as much credibility as any other Norwegian 'black metal' band. Doesn't Varg Vikerns title all of his Burzum works in Norwegian too?

Actually given some of your previous posts I would say that there was room to interpret your post in that way.

Which could be taken to imply that you devalue them based on their ethnicity. With that in mind and the wording of the post in question I would contest that there is no ambiguity. My mistake

1. The "context" in this case is a discussion with NFU. If you'd bothered to read the it, you'd know it had nothing to do with Negura Bunget.

2. I've devalued the band based on their charter membership in a movement that has contributed nothing of artistic note to black metal - it has nothing to do with their ethnicity.

On point 1. You are probably right, I tend to pay little attention to NFU and his apparent elitist snobbery that lacks any credibility or substance though. So you will forgive me if I missed something. He tried to engage me on one point in another thread, obviously in a derisionary sense but either thought better of it or just got sidetracked...
On point 2. I think that opinion is fine, it is just your opinion though. On the subject of ethnicity the point is taken.
