we're a power metal band with some neo-classical influences and female vocals from germany and proud to present our first demo here. It contains 7 songs + Intro, 32 minutes play time.
I did the mixing and mastering and since I got a lot of inspiration and great hints from here (great forum!), I thought I'd present it here. Info on the band, previews and stuff can be found here:

Would really love to get some feedback on this! (although these are snippets only) It's been my first work on a full album until now...
Some details on the recording and mixing, in case you're interested: Real drums with pretty standard mic setup (don't know what mics were used, but 2x overheads, snare top/bottom, BD in/out/speaker for sub), ride, hihat and each tom mic'ed seperately), Bass DI, guitars DI, lots(!) of vocal tracks all done by our singer... and a lot of midi stuff for the orchestral parts. Mixing took me a lot of time, editing all the vocal stuff (recorded in two different studios) and fitting the large amount of intruments into the mix. Bass went into some cab IR and some distortion as is done often. Guitars are amp sim. I thought of doing some re-amping for quite some time, but decided to go with the amp sim at some point, since mixes are quite crowded and the guitars (even though it's metal) are not really what draws most attention most of the time. Hope it turned out well
