Hey,....what's up? Good seeing everyone again...Vito fits in real well. For those who couldn't make it, they played 4 songs: "Lost In A Day", "With Rune And Fire", "Within My Flesh," and "Not The Strong". Once again, a set that was too short.

Yeah, I couldn't make it. I was stuck in the pizza place, waiting for my food (And it turned out that they RAN OUT of pizza)...when I got back in, Noctuary (Who I can't seem to find ANYTHING about) had already started playing...by the way, they did an awesome cover of Aces High.

It was great seeing everyone there at the fest this weekend! We wound up having a really good time the whole weekend and while we were initially worried about playing so early on Friday (and I know quite a few people who missed us unfortunately), we had a pretty big crowd there and the response was excellent. We had initially planned to do "The Day I Return" but with the time restraints we had to drop it. Someday we'll get out there and get to play a nice long set! Thanks to all those who made it out and hopefully we'll make it there again next year.

LOL, oh dont worry Eric, we at least had our fair share of Spinal Tap-like technical problems (chords coming out of guitars mid song, bass drum pedals breaking, knobs flying off guitars and into the crowd, etc...) but we soldiered through it! My hair was in my face 99% of the time so if someone threw something I probably wouldnt have seen it anyhow.
And I have no idea about pics, really. There were quite a few photographers during our set but damned if I know who they were working for....I imagine that the NEMF site will have pics up soon, at least.

HOLY CRAP!
MIKE WORE A TIE! THAT LOOKS AMAZING!

Those pictures are awesome. Wish I could've been there to throw shit on stage! Have a great show this weekend guys. I will be thinking of you as I bask in sunny Florida, laying on the sunny beachy sandy beaches full of sun and sand and water drinking beer and FRUITY FUFU DRINKS and eating salsa.

Yeah we rented heads from the same company that was providing the backline and stage techs for the entire fest. It worked out wonderful. I used a 5150 II and Vito used a Dual Rectifier (and I think Mike had an SVT head...) The guys who worked the stage were extremely helpful and for once we weren't getting hassled or yelled at to hurry up, etc. Definately the best experience I have had crew-wise at one of these fests.

Hey man! Jeff from Noctuary here! Great set and thanks much for helping us out with equipment. Cool meeting you guys and as I said before if you're ever out this way, we'd love to do some shows!

Thanks- Jeff

Heya Jeff, greetings again! Yeah we had a good time, I'm glad it worked out for both bands. Are you guys planning on playing in Milwaukee this summer? Let us know.
Overall I have to say this fest was one of the more enjoyable ones I have been to (and I have been to way too many damn metal fests in my lifetime!) The promoter, stage crew, and security were all great and the fest went smoothly.
