anybody else who made any comps for road trip material or to help turn a new person onto the great music of November's doom?

It's too bad that you couldn't have burnt an mp3 disk, bro. I think you would have been able to throw all ND songs onto one disk and still have room for other songs. That's what I try to do if I'm in my car and I can't bring all my CDs with me.

First off, I don't have a mp3 player. Second, I have over 1200 cds in my collection and if I was travelling over a long distance requiring many hours of music listening I don't think I would enjoy listening to only one band.

The point of this wasn't just for me, it was also to make a comp , as I do for alot of the bands I really enjoy, to help turn someone new onto the music. A new person isn't always going to jump right into the pool head first. They want a sample and little 30 second downloads at amazon.com isn't going to work.
I have turned many friends and online friends onto bands they might never have heard of or given a chance due to my various comps I make.

Yet inevitably, one person always says you should put all the band's worth of music onto a mp3 player. :hypno:

Dude, I would never advise listening to our whole catalog on one long car drive anyhow. It's just not healthy LOL

I've told before the story of how I got stuck in a van on a ride to Cincinatti back in 1995, when all I heard there and back was the "Amid..." cd, in its entirety, played over and over and over again....I wanted to throw myself out the back doors of the van onto the highway. That's just too much dirge for one man to take hahaha

haha, even though I try to get an early start to drive during the day on long trips, it still gets alittle hairy out on some of these mountain roads in northern or eastern Arizona. If I get too depressed from the music in the player, I might end up on the bottom part of a very high cliff. :ill:
