You need to remember not everyone can tolerate Dave's vocals alone. It's really not surpising to me when someone says they don't like Megadeth. To most people it is because they've sold a lot of records. Everyone's suppose to respect their legacy,etc... but when it comes down to it Dave can't sing,his music does not compare to a lot of killer metal imo.

That's right. He told me about it from the Megadeth board. It's true that I don't visit here often, because I've made enough friends, and mostly enemies on the Megadeth board. Nevermore are prolly my favorite band, though. Although, if Warrel sees this thread, I doubt very seriously he would like to have me as a fan. ehehe.
And, Chromatic is cool. We've had a lot of nice debate on the Megadeth forums, but we get along. It's all in fun. He's a good guy.
Oh, and Tiff, I forgot about the Ronnie James Dio post on the chat. Good one.

Here's your problem -- the talentless hacks that will have to replace a sufficient number of current Nevermore band members in order to achieve that goal would defeat it's purpose. I wouldn't say that Dave can't sing though. He knows how, he just doesn't have the best voice for it. I think that's part of the reason I love Megadeth so much, because of the delivery of the vocals. A lot of the time Dave's talking along with the music instead of singing along.
Regarding the topic of the thread....NO!!!!!!! If Warrell were to be praising Jesus instead of telling it like it is, it just wouldn't work. Nevermore finally seems to be getting some of the respect they deserve. If they changed to a conservative Christian theme now, it would undo their years of hard work and very likely alientate 99.99994% of their fans.
