nevermore clips from belfast 6/06/06

Are these just partial clips of everything, or is there enough to combine it all into a full song or two? I'm having a bit of trouble waiting for the Gigantour DVD, and even that will only have two songs of theirs on it.

I have to say I could only hear Loomis' guitar and the harmony bits (which seemed too close to his playing to be anything but a harmonizer), especially during solos (I only saw the biggest one, which was Narcosynthesis) where there was none of the rhythm at any audible level. Anyone else notice?

Odd clip...not one KRANK in sight...juts Marshall and ENGL...I thought he was a big KRANK fan now?

He was playin the Krank at the Jaxx show last month, and it sounded awesome.

It looks like they're using another band's gear. Van is on a Pearl set, too.

Well they didnt pan over to the right side of the stage, is it possible jeff was the only guitar player for that gig?

The tone doesn't sound bad from the vid. Is he plugged in to the ENGL? It is sort of blurry to tell.

The band just flew in with guitars and a few pedals, the amps, cabs and kit are all local bands (mainly Residual Effect for those who care). I think jeff was using the ENGL and it took a few songs for the guitar sound to become even remotely decent. And yes he's on his own, no other guitarist.

That's what I had been thinking - anyone who went there? Was he alone, or did they have to cut the second guitars out altogether?

marty - thanks for sharing those vid clips.. i pulled most and checked them out. definitely not a great sounding show. Warrel certainly not on top of his game here.

also pretty obvious it was just Jeff. The guy is a trooper. Unfortunate problems with Smyth, and it seems they are having trouble locking in a second tourist guitarist.

no matter... nevermore still own.

No joke on that one - he definitely just kills. Did I miss whatever happened with Broderick, or could he just not make that one show?

They also had that other cameraman on stage with them, and he seemed to be getting better angles - maybe a full show will be coming soon somewhere? The Gigantour DVD may not have enough Nevermore...

I saw them two days ago at SRF, and got to have a few words with them at the signing booth. Jeff is solo on this leg of the tour, i guess they use different gear for each gig. In sweden he played a Dual recto

Resudual Effect were great that day, as were all the bands despite the neighbor's complaints! LOL And if I remeber right Nevermore weren't the only band with tech problems that day...but it all turned out in the end and hopefully its the first of many for Belfast..Although I do have to complain about the fact that the merchandise stand was selling gear from all the bands present except Nevermore...
