I am sorry that I am disappointed by a dumbass move on the part of the band and or their record company.

I don't doubt one minute that this is whatever a great "financial" move for the record company/band...

NM had the chance to play at PP and show the elite audience that attends how a US band should be. Now it isn't going to happen... and from cancelling PP twice, it isn't going to happen ever. Too bad.

Yeah, it is me who is an idiot for being so excited that I was going to see NM maybe get a chance to headline in the US for such a great event and maybe play for upwards of three hours...

( P.S. Nevermore played in Portland Oregon - headlined - to about 40 people I was shocked they didnt just leave ..but played for us 40 fans like a mutha fucka so I doubt this was NM's doing )

I know for a fact that the Nevermore guys would have played the festival if they had been able. They were GOING to, but a previously agreed to arrangement was postponed, causing them to drop off of the festival. Fine. You don't think for one second that I'm disappointed? Fuck yes, I am. But, I get over it quickly. I don't say "AWWW FUCK THE BAND FUCK THE BAAAAAAAND" It's not up to them where the fuck they go, it's the label and the promotor. They'll be back eventually, but play for 2 to 3 hours? I doubt it.

I'm mad too, I was gonna fly to Prog Power to see Nevermore and now they're cancelling it. But it's probably NOT their call, So I can only blame Century Media.

i live in america right now. i booked a flight for the SPRING dates because those were confirmed. i most likely wont be in Europe in September. (actually, yes, i probably will be) BUT i have my flight booked for a month from now. pardon me for being just a tad pissed !!!

Sorry...this is not true. The label has nothing to do with booking shows...that responsibility falls squarely on the band & their booking agent. Of course the label may give the band their opinion on what they think would be a better move for their career, but they certainly are not the ones making that decision.

I'm going to guess that when the Disturbed tour got postponed, Nevermore was probably given an all-or-nothing option of doing the tour when it was re-scheduled. At that point it was the band's decision, most likely per their booking agent's recommendation, to pick the Disturbed tour over PP.

I'm not certain of course, but I would take that bet!
