Nevermore on warped tour? Whats goin oin here?

Neverstraight? The Warped Tour? Seems perfectly logical as both are equally lacking heterosexuality.

I checked the Warped Tour website and the dates and venues mentioned in this thread do coincide, yet there is no mention of Nevermore. Also, the tour section of the Century Media site does, in fact, say that Nevermore are scheduled to play there. Who knows? :)

from the slow numbers there, they will be fine, butr if they enter the hard and fast shit like WHAT TOMORROW KNOW, the meat heads will wank their little heads for them....

from nevermore.the.nl :

05/03/02] Organizers of the Vans Warped Tour--an annual trek also known as "Punk Rock Summercamp"--have asked Seattle's NEVERMORE to play a few dates, making them the first traditional metal band to ever perform on this tour. They will be joining some of the finest young metal, hardcore and punk bands on the PunkROCKS.net stage. Other bands confirmed to play the same stage are Unearth, Curl Up And Die, and From Autumn To Ashes.

NEVERMORE are currently in the writing stages of their follow-up album to the critically acclaimed 2000 release, Dead Heart In A Dead World. Called "The Chaos Bringers" based on the reputation of their scorching live performances, Terrorizer Magazine has praised them as being "one of the few metal bands today who can write songs that remain profoundly infectious and catchy despite matching and even exceeding some of the harder works of Pantera and Machine Head in terms of pure, in -your-face riff chop and percussion pound."

Dates and cities have been announced for the 26 stops on the tour, which kicks off in Nampa, Idaho on June 21. NEVERMORE are confirmed to appear on the following dates:

July 20th - Quincy, WA (pre-sale tickets available now)
July 22nd - Billings, MT
July 23rd - Fargo, ND (pre-sale tickets available now)

Oh yes it is true and will happen...and personally, I think it's great. More exposure is good exposure. People who are pissed off at this are IDIOTS. Also, most skaters, surfers, etc. dig metal.....as I can attest too as I was once heavily involved in the scene (skater/and member of the East Coast Pro Surfer Association). Also, this isn't the firsdt time a "traditional metal act" has played the Warped Tour....Six Feet Under has.

Stop acting like Nevermore "has sold it" or that you are losing your precious child. God forbid a band attempts to reach more fans. These are the same people that think DHIADW has nu metal riffs........get a clue posers.

yeah it does....which blows imo, as Enemies of Reality sounded like more of a Nevermore album imo.
