Totally loving it. I've been into this band since the beginning, and although they've dropped most of the electronic and space-themed stuff that they began with, I've loved everything they've written since. This song is no exception!

Great band. Their first 2 CD's were great. This new stuff could use a little less gay radio shit but nonetheless they still stand out from anyone in that genre of music.

Still loving this song, but there are Auto-Tune artifacts all over the place...

Greg, the album is nearly tracked, and I'm super excited about every aspect of it. Not a whole lot of tracking occurred in August, since we played those dates with Demon Hunter (and thus went into rehearsal mode for a while), and then I was on vacation in September for a while, but my brother and I have been laying down bass lately and it sounds huge. We'll have some more video blogs soon and I'll post an "official" update on the giant dedicated thread I started a while back.

Let me preface this by saying that the first album is one of my favorite albums of all time. The second one took a while to grow on me but it's also very good, although I was hoping they'd return more to the sound of the first album...

Very disappointed by this song. It's good for what it is, I just don't like it.

I love the production on the 2nd album, the vocals sound great on it even though the drums dissapear somehow ( kick drum on beautiful lie)

That may be one of the good things about this current trend.. we can listen to a singer who, other than his pitch, is fucking awesome. You mightn't give him a second chance if he was untuned.

I've seen 30 Seconds to Mars live twice, in small clubs, on the tour for the first album. Amazing both times. Jared doesn't need tuning, he's fucking epic as a vocalist. What the fuck is up with major records and auto tune abuse??? When will it stop?!! Use Melodyne on conservative settings = problem solved.

This new song sounds like Switchfoot, mixed with the ending credits music to a cheesy late 80s movie. uke:

i was a big fan of their first cd. i liked the electronic and new wave elements. i thought it made them unique. Ever since then they have sounded like every band ever to me and im not a fan.

Not a huge fan of this tune, but I have an old set of mp3s of them doing a live in studio acoustic set at a radio station, Jared apparently has a cold even, and it's the best I've ever heard his voice sound.
