New 30 Seconds To Mars song...

i used to be a big fan of 30STM, but was less impressed with the songwriting on the second album. like someone said above, it grows on ya. i'm hoping this new album will too, as i'm not too impressed with this track.

as for him as a singer, i've seen them live 3 times. once in a large festival, and twice in smaller venues where i coudl see him up close. all 3 times he did a great job singing, no real tuning issues aside from the occassional slip that can happen live when youre dancing around and rocking out. i think they use autotune on his vox as an effect. not overdone like the tpain crap, but just to make it interesting and fit with their original futuristic, spacey vibe. though i cant speak for this album, i dig what they've done with his vox in the past

Loved all 30STM-Songs I know for the production. Then I saw them live and was really impressed by Jared's singing! Now I'm always waiting for this song to come on the Radio. But the Auto-Tune really pisses me of... As people have said: He doesn't need it! However that space-fx-theory that someone posted above might be true. I'll probably pick this up once it get's out. The last record was ridiculously expensive over here...

their first album was really awsome and different space-metal beautiful lie was pretty boring compered to the first sounded way too much like my chemical romance and the crap that was popular during that time... this song sounds more like their second album so nothing special but ok sounding...

the auto-tune kinda sounds like they've deliberately left it on? i guess we'll know when we hear other tracks on the album maybe. it seems too obvious for it to be just lazy autotuning or singing as he does have a good voice from live videos i've just checked out. i duno
