New album name

Haha... It's just an album name people. Who the hell cares? Listen to it, and take it as you will. Hate Crew took time to get used to and in the end I fucking love that CD. It has some kick ass shit going on. Perhaps COB is trying to pull the wool over your eyes (don't get to say that enough) and make it sound shitty and then will end up blowing you away with awesomeness. *shrugs* That was the shred of optimism for this entire thread.


Furthermore, no I don't like the album name, BUT, I'm not gonna count it out yet until I hear it, who the fuck knows. Just wait it out people.. God, hating it based on a name..

What's in a name? Called by any other name the album would still sound as sweet.

The band IS going downhill, soon they'll sound like new Metallica and Linkin Park....and the more success they get the more their music will suck because Bodom (Bodom is old Bodom, Hatecrew is the new stuff) doesn't fit for the massess...(imagine Lake Bodom on Viva la Bam :err: )
 
I agree with Missery and Bodomized.

I also think it's a shit name, but cause everyone is already getting ready to dismiss this CD I think whatever title they came up with would be laughed at. I'm almost sure, if Spinefarm had said the new CD will be called 'Something Wild' this whole thread would have pretty much the same comments.

I'm just going to wait until I actually hear it before I say I hate it, but personally I'm looking forward to enjoying it rather than looking forward to it being a pile of shit. Guess we shall see.

I think like most of you that this is a bad name for an album. Bodom seems to be changing their sound. The hatebreeder era is gone forever and we should now await something more à la Hate Crew Deathroll or even worse the last EP.

Who knows, maybe Alexi will listen to the diehard metal fans and won't start writing punk.
 
Title doesn't bother me in the least really. It's a title. Some of my favorite albums have titles that make no sense whatsofucking ever. It's got the Bodom attitude to it anyway.

Look, if they call an album 'Puritanical Darkness Dimensional Armageddon' then there is room to worry. :p

Yea the Bodom attitude is the shit!!

Plus... It won't go all punk. He's got Kylähullut.. Sure it may not be a techincal masterpiece. He's got Sinergy. It's just gonna be fucking hard, fucking heavy, and have some awesome ass bombastic solos. That's the end of it. There's no change in Alexi, he can play the cards the way he will, but he'll still be the wildchild and his persona and the rest of the band is 65% of why I love seeing them live and enjoying their solos. They fucking suck you in whether you like it or not. Plus, noone ever judges their stuff stand alone, its just judges as "it's not like hatebreeder/older stuff/etc.".. He even said in the metal injection video that "the classical aspect isn't gone forever, it's just not in right now."


Yup, take it as you will. I'm no fanboy, or saying I'll love it regardless, I just don't think things will change the bands personality or destroy them completely.. At least till I hear it. Plus, like I said, Hate Crew really took awhile to sink in with me, and it ended up being awesome. And playing some of it is harder than their older albums which are riddled with neo-classical.. Generic (term used loosely) diddies (word said for fun.. Cause a diddy is hillarious to say)... So yea.. Let's see what he's got in store for us. We ain't dead yet mutha fuckas!
