New Alice In Chains

I heard it set to a laser show in a big dome a couple weeks ago. I laid on my back with my head on a pillow and tripped the hell out. It was amazing then and still is now. This album is instantly special and will never be forgotten :)

HOLY FUCKING BALLS THE FIRST TRACK IS STRAIGHT OUTTA DIRT!!!!!!!!!!

I KNEW this album was gonna be awesome...the clips did it absolutely no justice...I'm stoked just after the first track.

I'm gonna go jerk off to Jerry Cantrell now.........

best comeback album ever other than monotheist eofs

Arrrrrrrrg. Are most of the songs better or worse than Looking In View?
I figured a looking in view was one of the weaker tracks on the album.

private hell and the title track are really special.

Oh how you tease me with your words...

I almost wish time traveled faster so I could hear each song faster just to get to the next one.

You'll take that back when you hear track 4.

You, sir, have never been more right.

Seriously, every single track is great. The only ones that are a little weak (and by weak I just mean not AS awesome) would probably be the singles, Check My Brain and A Looking in View, along with Acid Bubble. Three tracks that aren't weak at all, just in comparison to the sheer awesomeness of the rest of the album they aren't AS awesome.

Also Black Gives Way to Blue is one of the most beautiful ballad-y songs I've heard in a long, long time.

Standout tracks for me:

Your Decision
Black Gives Way to Blue
Take Her Out
When the Sun Rose Again
Private Hell
Last of My Kind
All Secrets Known

When was the last time you heard an album with absolutely NO filler? I haven't...until now.

Beautiful, beautiful song. It's one of those songs I wish could go on forever and ever in my head. This title track is to this album what Would? was to Dirt.

Dude I'm freaking the fuck out over here. I had just about given up hope on bands I've loved being able to make any decent comeback. This album has completely blown me away.

If they don't win a grammy for this album...no, wait...if they don't SWEEP the Grammys for this album, I'm going to be really surprised.

Downloaded it. If it sucks, I'm going to kill you all (note: I didnt like them previously).

If you didn't like them previously you might not like them now...the reason we love it so much is because it's classic Alice in Chains.

It's not some band reinventing themselves....they never had to do that. They've always been awesome to us.

However, you just might think it's ok. It's a really dark and moody album.
