Uh since when are they overhyped. I haven't read any magazines claiming them to be THE EPITOME OF MODERN MELODIC DEATH METAL like ARSE-is.

Arsis is overrated.

I can think of a good ammount of more oldschool melodic influenced extreme music that is ten times better.

Name a good amount that are ten times better then. Album titles, if you will;

There are a lot of subjective aspects in art and music.

Album titles have to be one of THE MOST sujective of them all.

There are blatantly gay album titles, and certainly some that rock, but largely... most album titles are just to let you know what the fuck you're listening to from some artist... Very rarely do I think up lists of my favorite or least favorite album titles, and very rarely do I think an album will be great or poor because of its title.

If anything, the artwork is a little more indicative of that.

Arsis are good, but I have to agree that they are over-rated.

The last album was the best of the sort in several years by most accounts. I don't have much interest in the genre these days, but I'll still probably check this out as long as it's not a total retread of the last album.
