They have the skills and the sound of GORGUTS, but well crafted original songs, with great vocal patterns. The Bass is the key instrument in this band I think, they are from France, as well. They have two releases, my personal favorite, Terra Incognita in 2001, and then their second one is called The Link released in 2003.

Arisis is a really good melodic death metal band from America, they sound like they are from Europe, seems they have been writing their music like this since day one. They played with 6 Feet Under, Pyrexia, Mortal Decay, Circle of Dead Children, Ion Dissonance, and Kalibas.
