New Candlemass...

[General Zod]

Anyone else heard this? I'm spinning it as I waste time on my PC, and I'm digging it. Given that I like neither Doom, nor the previous Candlemass discs that I've listened to, this may not be a good sign for fans of the band. None the less, I'm digging the guitar play and Messiah's voice in a big way. "Seven Silver Keys" is an amazing song.

Plus it's probably the worst Candlemass album out there.

EDIT: But I'd still give it a 7.5/10....such is the magic of Candlemass.

There are some very good tracks on this album for sure: "Silver Keys", "Born in a Tank", and "Witches".

Either way, it's about time Zod revisits his decision on disliking doom. Oh wait...he said he prefers this to older Candlemass. OK, never mind.
