New Chimaira teaser

Impossibility Of Reason will always be my favourite of theirs, and it's their second haha. If we forget that it's Chimaira for a second and just imagine it's a new band (which they should really have done IMO) then colour me intrigued. Those guitars sound huge.

I kinda doubt this is really on anybody's radar anymore. And it IS sort of odd that Mark didnt just go with a new name and everything... but, to each their own I guess.

$800 to have Mark Hunter remix your song? Maybe the new album is mixed by him?
Don't they have any label sponsoring them?

I also feel that they got really boring after Resurrection,
maybe the new dudes might bring some meat in the soup.

EDIT: Not really digging that mix. It's all a little flat and raw, and the guitar's airy upper mids are just eating everything else alive. It's heavy though, for sure, just a little undefined, especially on some of the riffier parts.

Impossibility of Reason, was my summer in 2003, could not take it out of my disk player. Still to this day rules, but I totally agree with all of you, after Resurrection they just didn't have it anymore which is probably why they all decided to leave.

I saw them in 2011 on Mayhem fest and they still kicked ass, they sounded really good, so I'm sad to see them take such a dive!
