Is the majority using 7 strings guitars here ?

I think the majority would still be playing 6 strings on here and almost all forums with a good sized guitarist population. Sevenstring.org would be the only exception to that really.
I play my 7 strings maybe 70 per cent of the time, but I still love 6 strings.
Your usual E standard and drop D on a 6 are still awesome tunings. I like to screw around with stuff like C# or drop B every once in a while, but generally I just prefer to play my 7s in B standard/drop A and 6 strings in E standard/drop D.
Although I originally thought otherwise, what I learned was that 7 strings wont entirely replace 6 string guitars. which is why in the last few months I've started to pick up my 6 string guitar a bit more (only got one at the moment compared to three 7, but I'll definitely have to pick up another 6 string guitar in the future).
There's certain things you can still do on a 6 that you just can't do on a 7.
People that regularly switch between the two will understand what I'm talking about.

I play either a Jackson Kelly or Rhoads 6 string tuned to B or an Ibanez RGA7 7 String tuned to F#.

The neck has never been an issue for me. The 8 felt absolutely fine in my hands, I just couldn't fucking do anything cool with those extra notes (I didn't inspire me haha).
