Maybe cut some high end out of the guitars. But man that sounds good especially the vocals. What mic did you use and what did your chain look like?
Also, welcome to the forum.

Thanks for the advice man! I appreciate it! When I tracked this, I actually was just using a MXL 4000 > EQ > COMP > DE-ESSER > Then depending on where it was panned, Delay and Reverb. Pretty Standard. As far as mixing goes, two dry takes panned 100% left and right, and one with verb and delay straight up the middle.

I agree with arv, your either pumping way to much 4k on the vocals to get them to cut through, or it was one hell of a sibilant vocalist / microphone / placement. I say you're probably going to have to automate the ess sounds in the vocal by hand, it sucks but its much more transparent and fool proof than de-essing as you can turn each sibilant syllable down as much as it needs.

this is sickkk. did you write this whole thing? or like your band or something? did you do all the vox theyre rlly good. programming is top notch too, impressive

Thanks dude!! To answer your question, all of the instruments, vox, programming was done by myself. I really appreciate the compliments. SUBSCRIBE and SPREAD THE WORRRRD!!!

I was actually thinking about buying the Black and Gold kit too... with maybe the Emerald cymbals? I can't decide. Anyway, what program do you use for the cymbals?

do you mean you physically placed the wav files into an audio track? sorry, will you explain how you did the cymbals?
Yeah, I'm wondering the same thing. S2.0 is so convenient for me because I drag and drop my MIDI from Guitar Pro 5 and voila! Have a working drum track. Unfortunately, as many options as it has, I'm now looking for some better drum sounds. Replacing snare and kick are easy enough, but cymbals seems difficult. Is there a way to get cymbals working with general MIDI? If not, I'll still probably buy em, but it'll take some intense clicking!
