Hi, all! Sharing some new snare samples I made. I sampled a custom built 14inch by 8inch Craviotto Custom Shop single ply (steambent) cherry snare with 30-degree bearing edges. Recorded in 16bit, 44.1K stereo .WAV files. Mics used were a shure sm57 close mic, and neumann km 84s in an x-y position as close as I could get to my head, to best approximate the sound the drummer hears from his perspective and deliberately made very dry, so you can process the samples to taste. Available in left and right hand variations with five increasing velocities; soft, mid, hard, crack and rimshot. I feel I created nice variation and I'd love to hear any mixes you guys choose to use them in. Feedback is welcome. I put these in Dropbox this time because some people were having difficulty with 4shared.com Hope you all enjoy and please let me know what you think.

If anyone is willing to make TCIs, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks so much for this great forum, I look forward to your comments. :heh:
