Hi, all. My latest batch of samples, yours for the taking (I'd appreciate it if someone could create a .GOG file for them). :heh: This is a very dry Ludwig Supraphonic, recorded open with just a touch of MoonGel. Recorded in 16bit, 44.1K stereo .WAV files, I sampled her with a Sennheiser 421 top mic, Beyer m201 bottom mic, and as overheads, Neumann KM 84s in an x-y position as close as I could get to my head, to best approximate the sound the drummer hears from his perspective. Articulations include: soft, medium, hard, crack and rimshot, all with with left and right hand strokes, as well as soft and hard snare-open hits and a bonus cross-stick. To sit well in a Metal mix, these will likely require a good bit of processing; I deliberately left them as dry as possible so they could be used with more acoustic tracks. Feedback is welcome. Hope you all enjoy and please let me know what you think!

Cheers,

thanks man, sounds nice.
More hits on each velocity would be great to get really good use out of it though...but the rimshots could be nice to get some ring into a snare.
