New DAYLIGHT DIES sample up

You assholes, why did noone hype this band more? Because Jesse posts here?

I downloaded No Reply and am now looking for a place to order it.

ugh i thought i had been hyping them for like 2000 years

i have both discs (idle + no reply -- unfortunately not the live cd) and enjoy them immensely + daylight dies shirt + daylight dies sticker on my bass guitar

i'm a right regular wandering fuckin daylight dies advertisement

It's true. Erik even had "No Reply" in one of his top 10 lists.

By the way, Daylight Dies are supporting Emperor on their upcoming US tour.

Erik - you might wanna check out Slumber by the way. Later on I'll post some yousendits if you like.

This sounded really good, I've listened older songs before and something was always missing, but now they sound just the way I like this kind of music to sound.

I'll check the album when it's out.

Great band. They actually live several miles away from me. Seen them live several times. Good to see they're finally coming out with a new one.

Okay, this sample is pretty good. It's not wowing me but I'm enjoying it. It's been a while since I listened to No Reply, I should go give that a listen.

Wait, I just heard the clean vocals at the end. Did No Reply have any clean vocals? I don't remember any.

what happened to the guy with the really long hair? he was cool.

hung out with one of the guys (Barre, i think) for a bit in Montreal last summer at the Katatonia show, nice guy though he was fucking hammered. bought a shirt off him, but i don't think i got the album... no clue why, it's great!

I think the long haired guy was the old singer. These guys kick major ass, the sample sounds very promising. Im seeing them live this saturday too.

The guy w/ the really long hair is Nathan, our current singer. This is the first record he's done with us but he's been in the band for quite a while now. He replaced Guthrie (our old singer) who left after the No Reply tour in 2003.
FWIW I actually did all of the clean vocals for this record.

Were their last two (Lost To The Living, Frail Becoming) any good? Sort of lost track of these guys over the past few years....
