new DEICIDE line up

gaschamber

check out my dumb band
the hoffmans left, i dont know if i was just out of the loop, but i just found out, they got jack owen and dave suzuki for now, then theyre getting tony lazaro, so it'll be a vital remains/deicide mix for the next album (fuckin awesome), and there seems to be a little milano vs anthrax war going on between benton and the hoffmans. the shit that tough guy music makes people do. i love metal!

I actually got really lucky and saw deicide two weeks before the hoffmans left in New mexico. Serpents of the light and scars of the crucifix were awesome. I actually thought everything else sounded the same though. Goatwhore, Cattle decapitation and jungle rot opened.Jungle rot was the only one I liked. Im pretty hard to impress though. Jungle rot just played theri ass off and literally just had the place rollling like crazy. Good pit all night. I was in the bar most of it though. From my understanding Vital remains is basically just molding into Deicide and they will be one band from now on. I actually think that whole tough guy image is shit, most of those guys go home take a shower, have sex with their wives , pet their dogs and go to bed just like everyone else. Tough guy shit is basically that....shit.

i saw deicide too with the original line up, anymore its rare to see them ,cause they always cancel. theyre in the top five fave bands for me, i love it all, legion was so ahead of its time, if it wasnt for legion, most of the extreme metal bands wouldnt exist. and scars of the crucifix was fuckin great.

Yeah thats why I went and saw them because they kept canceling everywhere else and even though Im oit a big fan at all I figured it would be good to see one of the original extreme metal bands.

deicide with lazaro and suzuki is gonna be so fuckin rough. i cant fuckin wait. i like the hoffmans, but with vital remains now, theyre unstoppable.

Im not much of a brutal death fan , but the last VR was pretty good. The cover art rocked. Roman orgies rock. The most death , like true death metal I get is AMON AMARTH. Ive seen Morbid Angel, Suffocation and all those bands listed above and Dying Fetus and it just really doesnt impress me much and I think its mostly because of the vocals. I cant tell if they are belching or farting. Dying Feuts guitar work was pretty impressive live though. So was Trey Azagoths.
