I figured out the background problem. the encoding has the picture saved from a url that's been on the internet, and not from something like a picture saved originally into a hard drive of some sort, which could be a slight problem. second problem is that in the HTML coding the background is setup like this:

(background: url(images/bkg-evile2011.jpg) no-repeat center top)

notice how it says no-repeat center top. get rid of the no repeat tag. that could solve your problem, BUT it means showing the new EVILE logo more than once (i mean the black and gold trim word).

Would that work?
