AHAHAHA thats fucking nuts! i hope he adds more of an old school touch to dimmu. their new album sucked alot. but i enjoyed some parts in Puritanical Euphoric misanthropia however.. aside from the accasional walt disney sounding melodic singing which was funny in some parts and the song puritainia was shitty. but i'll let that go! i hope their new material is better though

I like the Borknagar clean vocals that were added to the band. I guess their is an old school dimmu and a new school, same with Satyricons sound. Old Black Metal New Blackmetal.

The last two were good but I'm curious to see where their sound goes. Maybe more towards the older sound as they have again started singing in Norweigan?

Dimmu put on one of the best concerts, their lighting guy "wolfgang rules" does Cradle of Filths as well. Immortal was the epitomy of a Black Metal show, to bad they quit. Mayhem's shows in Europe get a little crazy from what I have seen in Bootlegs.

I fucking love Borknagar, if I had to pick a favorite Black Metal band they would be it (and Marduk)! Dimmu's Puritanical was a great album, I loved the production it was killer!! I am not into their newest album that much however...

Borknagar are awesome. I have The Archaic Course, Quintessence, and Empiricism. Yes Wolftribe its Fantastic stuff! Vortex's vocals are great in Dimmu, also in Borknagar. Dimmu were great in concert. I saw them with Hypocrisy, Children of Bodom, and Nevermore. Vintersorg also is really good.
