New Dio is slow and boring

And that's saying a lot - he's my favorite singer. Tracks 3, 4, 5, and 6 are completely forgettable. Not much hope for the rest of the album. Such a bummer..

Dio and Malmsteen should just consumate their love and be done with it. Leave the world with one mind blowing album, retain some glory of old, and then go their separate ways.

I think the last Dio record I bought was Sacred Heart ... he was better in Sabbath than on his own.

Rising, Mob Rules and Holy Diver are easily in my most favorite albums. I really like Dream Evil and enjoy listening to Magica, which is why I was looking forward to Master of The Moon.

On a related note, if you still haven't heard Elf, check out Trying To Burn The Sun. Wonderworld and Streetwalker are two of the best songs by anybody, ever.

The only Dio I have is Holy Diver, and probably the only other one I'll get is Heaven and Hell. Dio's a kickass little dude though.

What is up with Magica part 2? I thought that was the next release, since Craig Goldy was back...

I am happy to say that I went and listened to this on my own after reading of the poster's disappointment and am glad that he is 100% wrong.

The new Dio slow? Perhaps in tempo, but that's nothing new. Boring? I think not, it's Dio, if you know what to expect, then it is delivered.

I just wait to get the actual cd now, packaging and all.
