New double-disc album?!

i was reading a BW&BK magazine that Opeth is going to be realeasing a double-disc album. One heavy disc and one mellow!

I can't wait for that to come out!

It's gonna be 2 different albums ...one traditional Opeth album ...and another slightly experimental and also calmer album...

Someone on the Opeth mailing list mentioned this as well. They also said the album would be followed up by a US tour. Drool.

It's not 'the' album. Both of the CDs are coming out separately. So that's 2 albums to keep us going. I just hope the acoustic parts on the 'regular' CD won't be compromised because of the 'mellow' one.

It'd be cool if the "heavy" one was more like MAYH than the last couple.
i.e. an orgy of rock.

Will they EVER come here?
Not seeing them live at least once in my life will make my life incomplete.
