New DSO leaked

I have this same opinion. I love an album so full of chaos as this one, but still I can sense a calculated order within this chaos. It's discovering such depth that makes the album so interesting and worth several listens before I've finished finding something new each time.
I also love chaos in music, and the effect you are describing.

What I hate about Fas - Ite is the long parts of silence, or clearly progressive metal interludes. That is not chaotic. In fact, it destroys the entire effect the ridiculously crazy black metal parts have. 2 minutes of nothing in between each awesome section just makes for a frustrating and unenjoyable listen.

after 10 listens, i think the album loose most of the "chaoticness" since you can now hear most guitar parts.

I haven't had time to listen to the album in its entirety. I like what I have heard so far, but I haven't heard it enough to say if I think it measures up to Kenose and Si Monumentum Requires, Circumspice (my two favorite Deathspell Omega albums) or not.

By the way, this is my first post even though I registered a long while ago. My name is Ryan.

Hey Ryan welcome to the forums. You should post in the intro forums so we can all greet you (except me, I got banned from the intro forums). My name is Clay.

I think I'll listen to it again tonight, sitting by the lake (although DsO is better listened to by candlelight inside a gothic cathedral).
