New Fear Factory sounds like Old Fear Factory

Well it does, I got my muddy little mitts on it, and it sounds like any other of the other albums, thus proving, no matter what, the machine will win

But in saying that, we all know I will be there to get it the day it is released

I have tickets to see them in Jan, can't wait.

The one new song I heard sounded good and did sound like the older stuff, but it felt a tad lacking without the sampling of Rhys Fulber. I will give the album a whirl though.

I only ever had Demanufacture and Obsolete. Listened to Obsolete on the way home this arvo (having no idea about this thread on MD) and was reminded just how awesome an album it is. I'd put it in the top 10 of the 90s.

Samples are back as is the keyboardy stuff of Rhys Fulber which is a good thing IMO, a pretty strong album in all after a few listens

Ahh! Awesome! The only song I have heard which was the first put up on youtube, had no keys or samples. This makes me happy. I shall get the album soon then!

Obsolete is great, but Demanufacture is godly. One of the cornerstones of 90s metal for sure.

The first half of Demanufacture in particular is great. The second half is still cool but not quite as awesome. Anyway I'll be checking this album out!

Noooo. "Pisschrist" and "A Therapy for Pain" are awesome songs!

The first half is definately stronger, but Body Hammer and the intro to Dog Day Sunrise in particular are awesome.

I think the last song on the album is Burton's industrial/ambient bullshit fully realised, alot better than Ascension of the Watchers, just bores me is all, but a great way to finish an album
