Just watched the first new episode there, fairly disappointing.
the whole thing has a distinct "new Simpsons" vibe to it, which is to say it seems to be carrying a lot of what makes newer Simpsons episodes crap:
-the characters now all speak in a flat monotone without inflection,
-the dialogue is oddly rushed, like they are trying to squeeze as many lines into the timeframe as possible without giving any breathing-room or allowing for comic timing to work. there is also an un-natural evenness to every syllable, the impression i'm left with is that it is target specifically at yanks who need for the dialogue to be as robotic and monotonous as possible so that every word can sink in.
-rather crappy story which doesn't do justice to the genius of past episodes,
also felt very rushed, no sense of pacing whatsoever.
-very "new simpsons"-esque dependence on "loud gags", where something is considered "comedy" merely by virtue of being loud and/or obnixious (see benders dancing bits and the wake-up bit, among others)
