To buy list:

MOTU 1224 (second hand around 250 euro's)

Sennheiser E604 (115 euro a piece 345 for 3)
Rode NT5 (315 for a stereo pack)

And then I got about 300 more left for a 4 or 8 channel mic pre-amp anyone got anysuggstions?


On the drums I will use:

Ah the preamp issue has been bludgeoned to death so many times it's been thrown out of the karmic cycle!! Anyway, you won't regret the NT5s - they're pretty awesome.
How do you like those 53s?

53s are pretty nice i'd say good bang for the buck! worth it every penny
