new gear problems

I recently upgraded some of my recording gear(focusrite sapphire pro,yamaha hs50 monitors) from my old presonus firebox and behringer truth monitors. Now my guitars sound like shit, very muddy ,no definition distorting badly.I checked my signal chain for clipping and cant figure out whats up. Still using the same amps as before. Anyone have a clue? Thanks

problem with buying higher quality monitors is you hear all the imperfections you never noticed before.
