im forever debating with people over hammerfall..granted its usually them saying how crap they are and me blindly defending them..

Hammerfall were the first "not from the 80's" band I listened to. Before that I used to listen to a little bit of Maiden and Metallica, but really only what my dad played in the car! For me they hold a place in my heart as my introduction to metal and the first time I took music more seriously than "that stuff which what other people play." I owe them alot. First song I heard was Legacy Of Kings btw.
