Less high end on the kick and snare I think. They cut through way too much. Btw, this sorta reminds me of Life In Your Way, especially with the vocals.

There isn't much boosting going on, maybe they need to be lowered even more.

sounds nice! just a few things (noob-opinion )
- i would lower the vocals a bit
- i would pull the hi-hat more to the center
- i have the feeleing that the overheads sounds a bit too seperated from the shells.

the second one sounds pretty good overall, but the guitars seem like they're quite buried, and the snare just doesnt have enough attack for my taste, but the song itself is awesome!

id raise the lead guitar lines to prevent these ups and downs between riffs and leads.
i like the cymbals and drumkit. snare and kick sound like slate, right? a little too dry for the context,
the kit needs more sustain to my ears, maybe parallel compression.

if these are not samples, what kit did you use here? cheers!

thanks man,

kick is 100% replaced (slate, lsd and the drummers kit)
snare is augmented (50%, lsd and sturgis I think)
toms are augmented (only 20-30% for more sustain)

There is some parallel compression going on but I was a little shy. I'll try some more.
