New help blending kick drum and guitar

Well im trying to blend a kick drum and guitar together so the guitar will sound punchy. I've been researching and I cant find anything. Here is a sample of what I have so far. Notice how the kick drum kind of stands out.

Hey man to be honest that sounds ok, you'll find they will blend better if you get them locking together a little more. The biggest problem with your clip is that it is a little loose, and played slightly messy. Half the battle I find with getting something to blend really well is just getting everything super tight. Sorry to sound a little harsh!

seems like the snare is more of a problem, not the kick. Too up-in-front.
