Need help on DFH Superior kick drum sound

Hi there!I'm in need of some help and hope that there are more experienced guys among you in here I'm struggling to get a kick-in-your-face bass drum sound out of DFH Superior (first release). I decided to use the DW1 sample,it gives the nice attack and high end of the kick drum sound,but I just can't get that fat low-end out of the stuff. Could you give some advice on what settings I should use on the EQ (Waves Q10) and the compressor (the good ol' Waves C1)? Or should I forget about these plugins and use others instead of them? The kick drum sound I'm looking for is kinda similar to this:

+1, Ben Vesco had good stuff to start me out mixin'. I'm still starting out actually, but I learned a lot of stuff with his tutorials.

hell yeah man! i love his tutorials. they're very good read! and help out alot

consider using something like drumagog or aptrigga to layer up other samples on your kicks and snares, so you have the superior kick but also another kick layered up for snap etc. I use aptrigga and I find it's very useful for fattening up the stock superior sounds
