EZDrummer-DFH

Just got EZ drummer DFH and I'm trying to get a metalcore sound from the bass drum, any advice? any screen shots of eq's or compression or what to use?

The kicks in the DFH expansion sound terrible to me. I would get this:

+1...actually the only part I honestly care for from the DFH add-on is the cymbals. The snare, kick and toms always get replaced when I use it. Using aptrigga

Cheers guys, I'll get that now and try it out, Ya, the cymbals are good but I'v a pretty basic setup so i'll have to stick with my OH mics on the cymbals for the moment, I was always wondering how to trigger your own samples so thanks so much for this,

Same here. The cymbals are excellent. The kicks and snares sound thin to my ears, and I can't be bothered with the toms. The standard "Rock" samples are much fuller.

This is exactly why I can't wait for DFHS2.0... the ability to mix and match samples from any previous edition!
