I'm setting off on an adventure of attempting to catch some metal tones for a new music pack I'm producing. Im pairing an Engl Thunder 50 with a Mesa 1x12. With an SM57 picking up the monster tones I'll be shredding. Im going to experiment with a Reistifier pedal made by R3FX. What does it sound like when you drive and all tube amp with a rectifier circuit? I'm gonna find out.
