New ISIS songs

[Scourge of Malice]

I know half the people here hate them, but atleast some will appreciate this. I saw them live last night and they debued three new songs.. they were incredible. A lot more clean singing and clean guitar with a lot of build ups, but once the heavy parts came in they were fucking heavy. Reminded me of parts from Celestial. I really hope someone records them from a show, I gotta hear them again.

Good news. Isis are one of the BEST bands right now even if they're not HEAVY METHUL DEATH TO POSEURS RAAAGH. I still spin Panopticon at least once a week. What I love about them is how their intensity is almost entirely attributable to their subtlety. The heavy parts seem absolutely crushing when they do come in, and yet the transitions always flow well, rather than sounding contrived. I still haven't seen them live though, so I know I'm missing out. [/fanboy]

hey man do you remember if the song before the encore was syndic calls or in fiction? because i kept yelling for them to play one or both songs, and i feel fairly certain that one of them was played before the encore. (but not really because i was pretty wasted )

they didn't play syndic calls when they toured after panopticon either they did play grinning mouths though that shit was sweet

ya i've never seen em play syndic calls live... every song from panopticon besides that.. i wonder whats up with that, i love that song
