BAM!

@goth_fiend...nice pics...I only got to see Roy after my show...and you saw Simone! :notworthy

@Ptah...thanks man, I'll grab that vid once I get home from work...damn overtime! I see a bunch of people over at the Kam forum freaking out because they did/didn't see the video before it was pulled from myspace

So, who else here is fucking sick and tired of Mattias Noren? *Raises hand*

I mean, he pulls out an awesome cover here and there (present discussion topic included, it is pretty impressive) but jesus fuck, he's copying himself at this point.

100% agreed. Much of his work is great. However, he's become stagnant with some of his concepts and redundant with color schemes, not to mention just the overall "feel" of his album covers. Too much of a good thing can lose its luster, and I think he's proving that. Certainly there must be someone else out there who could bring a breath of fresh air to the album art of this genre...

 you mean in Olympia, WA?

I'm not sure exactly which jurisdictions (aside from Illinois) it's known as criminal sexual assault. I think it may also be a more "PC" way of saying "rape," e.g. "Did you collect the sexual assault kit?" as opposed to "rape kit." It just sounds more professional and less "dirty," although in essence it is the same thing.

Perhaps Ghost Opera will clarify the confusion.

From what i understand, most law enforcement officers aren't worried about sounding PC... at least not around the office. Or out in the field... But i do see where you're going with this.

listened to it a few times now. I guess it's pretty good and a lot of people will love it but personally I'm pretty tired of their "black halo" sound. hope they cut down a bit on pompous chorus with female backing vocals and orchestration for the next album.

I'm thinking I should just learn the song Ghost Opera and try covering it at a show before the album's even out.
