New Krank Rev Jr. tone test....

Well ive been dossing around this morning with my Yamaha with SD duncan distortion pup in the bridge with the usual amp setup and just want to get your opinions on this tone. I'm trying to rediscover "My Tone" through this amp as my taste on tone has all gone to pot... yet again.

its been HP at 94Hz and LP at 13.8 kHz and just double tracked guitar nowt else. the playings sloppy as ive only just written/remembered parts of this old riff of mine!

The SD really hasnt got as much bite as my other EMG loaded guitars and the gains only on 5 on the krank. its a very hot pup

Fucking awesome Mark, really full and ballsy! It's got plenty of sizzle, but also a tad too much fizz, which from the sound I think is a mic placement issue rather than amp tweaking. Really though, great job!

cheers marcus, the mic placement is bottom right speaker V30 in exactly the same way you'd mic up!
