New Loomis solo album.

Chris Broderick can take his 8-finger tapping bullshit somewhere else. Jeff needs to collaborate with Jason Becker, that would be the most amazing thing to happen in instrumental guitar music in the last 20 years.

Somebody tell jeff to have Broderick guest appear on his next solo album, a shreddy mcshred track between the two would be orgasmic. Now, i know I am crazy early to be thinking about it, but I do listen to ZOP daily, and cant wait for whatever comes next. and the two should fucking collaborate on a song or two, just saying...

okay, post your food pics now...

LOL as if Mustaine would ever allow that! But it would be awesome

I'm sure Jeff is/has been thinking of any possible way to do anything ever in his entire life of living with Jason. If is is possible, Jeff will make it happen. From all apearances, he would kill for that chance. And I would kill to hear it. My ears would simply become ejaculate.

EDIT: And on the Broderick front... Meh. I like him better in Megadeth than Nevermore. I like Smyth much more (as a player, Broderick is a hell of a nice guy). Attilla is a GOOD fit though, he's nice as shit too, and I dig his style.

must say all this solo albuming and sactuarying is making me a bit worried about when we are gonna see a new Nevermore album (and, god forbid, IF we are..)

What the hell is that fucking video?? Atilla's cool as shit, I dig a dude that can fuck around like mad, gotta have a sense of humor.

On the Steve note, I did really dig the songs he wrote, and his solos were good, my favorite dude next to Loomis so far. But Atilla seems like he could be super rad, too. I mean, he already is clearly. That video proves it.

Atilla is a very nice guy, I met him. And he loves playing with Nevermore. My only point is Steve wrote/writes awesome riffs and songs. Bittersweet Feast...that is an AWESOME song! Atilla could be an amazing songwriter, who knows. He has some shoes to fill, though, IMO. If he is asked to join the band, good for him. What an opportunity, but who cares really, Jeff will always provide the gas for the band. He is unstoppable.

that will never fucking happen...Atilla blows away Steve in every department ...Laurie any comments?

I may Mr Dane ;)

Atilla is a god send for this band seriously. Hes got Jeff's style down to a science. Steve is a sloppy player, always has been and he DID NOT fit with Nevermore AT ALL! I would have love to see more behind the scenes footage of the recording of TGE just to see how many times that sloppy ass bastard had to re-track and replay his parts. Thats why the album took so long to fucking record. It was trying to get Smyth to sound like a halfway compitent player ...lol

Now that being said.....

If Jeff wants and is going to do another solo CD he should be getting his influences to play on it along with him. Guys like Malmsteen, Friedman, Becker (even though this is impossible). Those are guys he should be grabbing for these things. While I do love Chris and he is a great guitar player he does fit better in Megadeth then in Nevermore. He was a MUCH better fit then Steve ever was, but he still didnt have all the factors that make the 2nd spot in Nevermore a hard job to fill. Atilla fits PERFECTLY into that spot. It was the 1st thing I said to Mr. Danel when I saw him on his solo tour in Las Vegas. "DUDE YOU NEED TO GET HIM IN NEVERMORE"... then I got the look of death ....lol

Anyway, I am excited to hear the things Attila write with the Dane. The if the first CD was any indication of the caliber of musicianship we can expect, the new one with Atilla on it will be a beast!
