New maiden album.

Ive given it a few spins now and some of it is more progressive and its different again from the last 3 albums but still maiden, need to give it a couple more listens.

A buddy of mine had the album. I listened to it last night. There is some really good stuff on the album. There is also so really boring stuff on there. But I am sure even those 'boring' songs I will grow into after a bunch of spins. When you think about how these guys are in their 50's it's quite amazing. It definitely isn't the next Number of the Beast but it is definitely worth listening to and has cool artwork

Maiden havent done NOTB since NOTB, your barking up the wrong tree completely if thats what you was expecting with the new album.

I just listened to the entire album again tonight. It is definitely growing on me. There is some really really good stuff on there. I am sure it will only continue to grow. Sounds a lot better in my headphones than on the laptop!

songs like "Aces High" or "2 Minutes To Midnight" were much faster than the new stuff.

2 Minutes to Midnight isn't really fast. Aces High is probably the fastest song they have ever done. They have several songs on the new album that have a fairly fast beat to them. I never liked Maiden because of how fast they were, it all just combines together brilliantly

same here, Johnnie listened to Maiden because of Blaze and to Priest because of Ripper, to Sepultura because of Derrick Green and to Anthrax ONLY because of John Bush.

Well I DO prefer Ripper to Halford and Derrick to Max (but only live, not on the CDs). Bailey was terrible on the albums but he did a decent job live.

Yeah this whole video is embarrassing, check this out

Derrick's voice is nothing special on the albums (I think Chaos A.D. was the best Sepultura album) but at least he's a real monster on stage while Max is a hippie save the rainforests pussy, who puts out the same crappy album every year.

I don't nee to see a huge black guy jump up and down like an idiot. Max is a legend. Derrik Green is nothing and never will be. Max has earned the right to do what ever he wants. Soulfly destroys anything "Sepultura" has done

Max as old as he is still shits all over Derrik even live.

(Thats how it should sound)

i agree with Johnnie on Derrick bein' a monster on stage, saw them 3 times (1st time Roots-tour with Max, 2 times with Derrick) live and Derrick really is a good front man but Max was very, very important in Sepultura, at least they play many old songs live, 'Chaos AD' is a really strong album from them, probably their best, i also like 'Arise' & 'Beneath The Remains', those are Thrash classics, i could do without the rest. 'Dante' is better than the first Derrick-records and i haven't heard 'Alex'.

i actually don't find their performance bad in the first video & there are some sexy girls in the audience, nice. but Sepultura without the Cavalera brothers is like Anthrax without Scott & Charlie. *lol*

this is what Sepultura will be remembered for:
